Fun Week

We had another great week.

In Math, we have started working on representing numbers.  In grade 3, students are expected to be able to recognize, write, order and represent numbers to 1000.

We explored what a good sentence has to have and practised bumping up simple sentences.  See if your child can tell you what a good sentence has to have.

We have also been working in using fix-up strategies when reading.  When reading with your child at home ask them what fix-up strategies they are using.
